Colorado student charged in ‘glitter bomb’ of Mitt Romney
A Colorado student faced misdemeanor charges on Wednesday for flinging glitter toward Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney in an increasingly frequent protest act some commentators say should be subject to prosecution.

The practice of “glitter bombing” has mainly been the domain of gay rights activists targeting Republican politicians and other public figures who oppose same-sex marriage.

Wow, he should not get pinned for charges with that unless he like flung the glitter at Romney’s eyes but I like this protest lol

actually if the glitter is aimed at the face, it can cause serious harm

unless its cosmetic glitter, glitter is basically tiny little pieces of metal/plastic

so flinging it at someones face could potentially really fuck someone up

which isnt to say that the kid meant it that way (and i hate the republican candidates as much as the next gal)

but yeah it is really dangerous to glitterbomb someone unless yo use cosmetic or edible glitter

True. Very true. I get the potential danger, regardless of intent. It still just feels like something being taken way out of hand because they can and because they have a rather large stick up their ass.
